Nelly and Tim McGraw did the duet “Over And Over” together in 2004.
So manager Debra Antney says it’s time for hip hop and country to create beautiful musictogether again.
Debra, who is also Waka Flocka Flame’s mom, tells Extreme Entertainment exclusively that her rapper son is collaborating with a new country group she’s managing called My Highway.
“I learned there are so many people who love country music,” the manager who usually repship hop artists tells us. “Lots of urban people love it.”
She says Waka supports everything she does and “definitely wants to do a song with them.”
Debra says she’s straying away from hard core rap and working with My Highway has been funand without any drama. “They are not worried about designer clothes or how they look. They just wanna have fun and work,” she says.
Josh Lane of My Highway tells Extreme Entertainment, “I am super excited for Debra Antney to manage our music career, we trust her experience, and knowledge in the entertainment business, and cannot wait to see where the road leads. Were ready to turn it on up, and turn it loose!”
