“Mama” June Shannon In Car Crash With Family, Driver Speeds Off

“Mama” June Shannon and her daughters were involved in another car accident on Monday when a driver slammed into their SUV and drove off. The “Here Come Honey Boo Boo” matriarch was pulling out of a gas station near her home in Hampton, Georgia when the other car, a minivan, rear-ended her Chevy Suburban before speeding off. Fortunately, no one was injured, though the kids were quite shaken by the crash.
Mama June called 911, but the other car drove away before she could take down the driver’s license plate. She plans on filing a police report about the hit-and-run.
This is not the first time the family has been in a car crash. Just a little more than a year ago, as Extreme Entertainment reported at the time, several family members were hurt when a truck allegedly blew past a red light and smashed into the family’s car, which was carrying Sugar Bear, Mama June, and her kids Honey Boo BooPumpkin and Jessica. In that incident, family members were taken by ambulance to a hospital, and were left bruised and sore for days.
