Ed Sheeran Offers Support To Singer Bullied By Natalia Kills And Willy Moon On X Factor New Zealand

Ed Sheeran is offering a few encouraging words to “X Factor New Zealand” contestant Joe Irvine after he was publicly humiliated by former judges Natalia Kills and Willy Moon during Sunday’s live show. After Kills and her husband, Moon, were criticized and fired for their beyond harsh comments, Sheeran took to Twitter to tell Irvine not to “worry about what anyone else says.”
“Enjoy yourself with it, that’s what singing is about, not what other people think,” added Sheeran. Kills and Moon came under fire after the couple verbally attacked Irvine for his performance of “Cry Me A River.” Kills said she thought Irvine had “copied” Moon’s look by having a short haircut and wearing a tight-fitted suit.
“I personally found it absolutely artistically atrocious,” began Kills, adding, “I am embarrassed to be sitting here in your presence having to even dignify you with an answer of my opinion.” The nasty comments didn’t end there. Moon then jumped in, comparing Irvine to the lead character in Psycho, saying, “It’s like Norman Bates dressing up in his mother’s clothing.”
He added, “It’s just a bit creepy, and I feel like you’re going to stitch someone’s skin to your face and then kill everyone in the audience.” Watch the video below of Kills and Moon’s comments, and tell us what you think of Sheeran offering his support.
