“Dancing With The Stars” kicks off its 20thseason on Monday night, but who are some of the contestants that will be competing? As Extreme Entertainment reported, this season’s “stars” include “Bachelor” star Chris Soules, soul singer Patti LaBelle and Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin. Many of them, however, may be unfamiliar to you. Rather than wasting your time Googling the not-so-famous stars, Extreme Entertainment has compiled a cheatsheet for you to get to know all 12 “Dancing With The Stars” cast members.
Noah Galloway, partnered with Sharna Burgess, is a military veteran and double amputee. During his second tour of Operation Iraqi Freedom the Humvee he was in hit a tripwire that detonated a roadside bomb. Galloway lost his left arm and left leg. He’s now a personal trainer and travels across the country as a motivational speaker.
Robert Herjavec, partnered with Kym Johnson, is best known as the “nice” shark on ABC’s “Shark Tank,” a show that helps entrepreneurs launch their businesses. He’s also a cybersecurity guru and the Founder and CEO of the Herjavec Group.
Patti LaBelle, partnered with Artem Chigvintsev, is an iconic Grammy-winning singer and actress. She has been in the music industry for more than 50 years, and is the voice behind such classic song like “Lady Marmalade” and “If Only You Knew.”
Nastia Liukin, partnered with Derek Hough, is a retired Olympic gymnast who won the Olympic All-Around gold medal at the 2008 games in Beijing. She also runs her own clothing line and gymnastics competition, The Nastia Liukin Cup. Liukin currently attends New York University for Sports Management.
Riker Lynch, partnered with Allison Holker, is best known for playing one of the members of the Warblers on “Glee.” He’s also a singer and bassist in the music group R5, and a cousin of Derek Hough and “Dancing With The Stars” judge Julianne Hough.
Charlotte McKinney, partnered with Keo Motsepe, is a model who’s now best known for her 2015 Super Bowl commercial for Carl’s Jr. She is also set to star in Joe Dirt 2: Beautiful Loser.
Redfoo, partnered with Emma Slater, is one half of LMFAO, the group behind such songs such as “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy And I Know It.” He was a guest judge on Season 18 of “Dancing With the Stars,” and is the first-ever guest judge to return as a contestant.
Michael Sam, partnered with Peta Murgatroyd, became the first openly gay player to be drafted in any American sport when he came out before the 2014 NFL draft. He recently got engaged to boyfriend Vito Cammisano.
Willow Shields, partnered with Mark Ballas, is best known as Primrose Everdeen in The Hunger Games movies. She’s also an advocate for Operation Smile, which provides free surgeries to children who suffer from facial deformities.
Suzanne Somers, partnered with Tony Dovolani, starred as Chrissy on “Three’s Company” and Carol Lambert on “Step by Step.” She’s also a singer, entrepreneur, and author of 13New York Times bestsellers.
Chris Soules, partnered with Witney Carson, was the Season 19 “Bachelor” and is currently engaged to winner Whitney Bischoff.
Rumer Willis, partnered with Val Chmerkovskiy, is the daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. She’s currently working on a duet album. Willis and her band played an Artist Residency at Hollywood’s The Sayer’s Club.
