Vin Diesel announced the birth of his third child on Facebook on Monday with a precious photo. See right and below.
In the sweet snapshot, the newborn is yawning in the arms of mom Paloma Jimenez as Diesel hovers in close, looking at the camera. The picture appears to have been taken in the hospital not long after the birth. Making the post all the tear-inducing? For the caption, Diesel put lyrics from the Louis Armstrong classic, “What A Wonderful World,” writing, “I hear babies crying, I watch them grow. They’ll learn much more, Than I’ll ever know. And I think to myself, What a wonderful world…”
What a wonderful world indeed. The new addition joins Diesel and Jimenez’s other two children, 4-year-old son Vincent and 6-year-old daughter Hania. Diesel tends to keep his personal life out of the spotlight, but it’s not surprising he chose to reveal his joyous news on Facebook. With more than 90 million likes, Diesel remains one of the most popular Facebook users, maintaining a close relationship with his fans.
The news that Diesel and Jimenez were expecting again only came out last month, after it was reported that Universal Pictures canceled the March 10 world premiere of Furious 7 in Abu Dhabi so the actor could remain close to home. Instead, the premiere will take place in Los Angeles on April 1, two days before the film opens in theaters. Congrats to Diesel on his growing family!
