A security guard for Lil Wayne punched a fan in the head in a brutal attack at the rapper’s concert in Fort Lauderdale early Sunday morning. The shocking violence, caught on camera, happened after the fan had held up his iPhone to display a scrolling message that Wayne apparently did not like. The performer allegedly sent his security into the crowd to deal with the audience member, and things got ugly. Watch the video below.
Trouble brewed when Lil Wayne, scheduled to hit the stage at midnight, showed up more than three hours later. Among the annoyed fans was the unidentified attack victim, who can be seen in the first clip below holding up his phone to show the message: “Shut the f*ck up and put on Weezy.” TMZ reports that he later changed the wording to “F*ck Weezy.”
When Lil Wayne saw the message, he allegedly told his security personnel to deal with the unhappy fan. In the second clip below, a guard can be seen walking up to the fan, and then punching him twice in the head. The security guy then calmly walks away as the victim struggles to get off the ground. The fan was eventually carried out of the club. The extent of his injuries is not known. It’s pretty shocking video. Watch it below, and tell us what you think.
