Bachelorette Premiere Recap: Men Vote With Roses Whether Britt Or Kaitlyn Stays; Drunk Ryan M. Gets Sent Home Early

The Bachelorette” Season 11 premiered on Monday with Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe vying for the 25 men to pick one of them as the Bachelorette. After meeting the men, the guys then had to vote with roses who would be the next Bachelorette. But before that happened, one contestant got so drunk and inappropriate, he was sent home.
Britt and Kaitlyn were first greeted by Chris Harrison at the mansion before the men began to arrive. Kaitlin acknowledged from the beginning, “My nerves are out of control,” while Britt said she was “really, really excited that its going to work out.”
Standing outside the house, Britt and Kaitlyn met man after man, with varying results. Some seemed to favor Britt a little more, while others made it known they’re rooting for Kaitlyn. The first few guys made pretty normal entrances. Then were was Jared, a restaurant manager from Rhode Island, who opened his button-down blue shirt to reveal a Superman-type T-shirt, but with an “L,” which he explained was for “Love Man.”
Another standout was J.J., who plays hockey, like two of Kaitlyn’s ex-boyfriends. He gave her a hockey puck and said, “I would love to puck you.” Without missing beat, Kaitlyn replied, “You pucked me good.” J.J. let Britt know that, while he didn’t have a puck for her, he would “puck her too.” There was also Josh, a lawyer who earns a living as a male stripper. He grinded on the women and had them touch his abs.
Joe B. from Kentucky certainly didn’t come empty-handed. He showed up with a bottle of moonshine, from which Kaitlyn took a swig. And Justin showed up with a gift as well. He brought balloons, which he sucked some helium out of. And Tanner gave Britt  a box of tissues because he noted how much she cried last season.
Ryan M. certainly made an entrance, coming out of the limo already drunk and announcing, “Honeys, I’m home!” But more about him a little later. There was also Corey, who works in finance and is a competitive volleyball player. He co-opted Kaitlyn’s opening to Chris Soules and said, “I was hoping the offer to plow your field is still on the table?” Tony, a healer, first told Britt, “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while. I believe in real love.” He then went over to Kaitlyn and repeated, “I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while. I believe in real love.”
As the women meet more women, Ryan M. was getting more and more drunk, yelling in the mansion, “I’m all horned up” and “I apologize for nothing. I’m sorry for being awesome.” He then told the other guys that he wants to date both Britt and Kaitlyn because “I’m selfish.” He later whispered to another contestant, “I’d like to take [Kaitlyn] out for a nice steak dinner and never call her again.”
After that, two men arrived via some interesting transportation. Shawn E. rode up in a convertible in a suit and tie. But, as Extreme Entertainment previously reported, the car’s seats were replaced with a hot tub. He then hopped out of the car, soaking wet. And while the women were amused, drunk Ryan M. yelled at Shawn E., “That car sucks. You suck, dude.”
The hot tub car was followed by a cupcake car, driven by a dentist named Chris, who told Kaityln and Britt that, while professionally he doesn’t advise sugar, “I’m really sweet for you guys.”
Later, Kaitlyn and Britt went into the mansion for a cocktail party, where everyone got to know each other. At one point, though, Harrison came in and told the 25 men there was a voting room, where they had to make their way, and take a rose and put it into either a box for Kaitlyn or another box for Britt to decide who ultimately will be the Bachelorette.
Ryan M. kept getting drunker, and when Shawn E. asked why he “disrespected” him and his car when he rode up, Ryan M. seemed to have blacked out and not remembered it. He then told Shawn E., “You do suck, by the way.” It seemed like there was going to be fight, but Shawn E. smartly walked away.
It continued to get worse. Ryan M. grabbed Kaitlyn’s butt, and then stripped down to a speedo and got into the pool before arguing with a few other men. He even said to one guy, “Why am I not raping you right now?” Eventually, security came in and told Ryan M. that Harrison wanted to speak to him outside. Once there, the host told Ryan M. that he wasn’t there for “sincere reasons, and I really think it’s best for you to go home.” And with that, Ryan M. was driven away.
After the men hung out more with Kaitlyn and Britt, Chris Harrison came in and said the roses were counted and one woman was going to be sent home, but we’ll all have to wait until part two on Tuesday to find out who that is. What did you think of the season premiere of “The Bachelorette”?
