Bruce Jenner is still NOT doing “Dancing with the Stars,” despite a new report. Extreme Entertainment can once again exclusively correct this rumor.
Extreme Entertainment first debunked the allegation in March, when RadarOnline wrongly claimed Jenner was planning to make his debut as a woman on the next season this fall. At the time, a rep for the Olympian exclusively told Extreme Entertainment the story was “false.” But now, nearly two months later, HollywoodLife has picked up the bogus story and is putting its own fake “exclusive” spin on the claims.
“Rumors are running rampant that Bruce Jenner will compete — and the show’s pros are all vying to have him as their dancing partner,” the webloid breathlessly writes, alleging, “Derek Hough and Mark Ballas are just two of the cast members who will be fighting to sashay alongside Bruce when the long running show returns for a new season!”
HollywoodLife goes on to claim Julianne Hough is also interested in being paired with Jenner, and quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “The producers have told Bruce this to sweeten the deal that if he comes onto the show, he will be given one of the best dancers they have.” But the site, often called HollywoodLies, is once again off base.
Extreme Entertainment checked back in with a rep for Jenner, who exclusively tells us that the rumors of the former athlete doing “Dancing With the Stars” are still untrue. “There have been no conversation regarding this matter at this time,” says the spokesperson.
