Sunday’s 2015 Billboard Music Awards take place at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Extreme Entertainment has a live stream below!
Ludacris is back as host for the second year in a row, joined this time by Chrissy Teigen. Taylor Swift leads the pack of nominees. As Extreme Entertainment reported in April, she receiving a whopping 14 nominations. The ceremony, to be broadcast live on ABC, will kick off with the premiere of her celeb-heavy “Bad Blood” music video.
Sam Smith and Iggy Azalea are right behind Swift with 13 and 12 nods, respectively. While Smith is unable to perform as previously planned due to surgery on his vocal cords, Azalea is expected to hit the stage with Britney Spears for the first-ever performance of their new duet, “Pretty Girls.” Mariah Carey will also be performing at the BBMAs for the first time in more than 20 years. The superstar is currently in Las Vegas for her residency at Caesar’s Palacce, and will head to her concert immediately after.
Other performers are slated to include Teigen’s husband John Legend, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran, Fall Out Boy, Wiz Khalifa, Nick Jonas, Meghan Trainor, Imagine Dragons, Fifth Harmony, and even the stars of “Empire.” Following a red carpet pre-show, the ceremony will get underway at 8 p.m. Eastern.
