Joshua Davis “The Workingman’s Hymn” The Voice Finale Video — WATCH HERE!

Joshua Davis vied for “The Voice” season 8 title on part one of the finale on Monday. Watch below!
The contestant has been something of a dark horse this season. As Extreme Entertainment reported, he won the first Instant Save of the live episodes, earning redemption after ending up in that week’s bottom two. Since then, Davis has been steadily improving, with coach Adam Levine arguing that he’s been breaking out at the right time.
Davis had three more chances to prove his mettle during the finale competition, and like Meghan Linsey, the aspiring star went down in “Voice” history by performing a song he wrote himself called “The Workingman’s Hymn.” Afterward, Davis’ former coach Blake Shelton called him a “great songwriter,” and said the track was already “stuck” in his head.
Davis next sang the classic “Hallelujah,” which was chosen for him by viewers. Christina Aguilera said the rendition was “heartwarming” and “right on,” making her so “engaged” with the performance. For the last round, the father of two took on “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes” as a duet with Levine. Check out the videos below! Do you think Davis could win it all tomorrow?
