Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama are not engaged, despite a new published report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively correct the claim. We’re told it’s “true not.”
According to the National Enquirer, the longtime couple is ready to say, “I do.” The tabloid quotes a so-called “insider” as saying, “Wilmer proposed over a candlelight dinner,” adding, “I was very romantic and Demi said, ‘yes!'” Interestingly, the magazine claims to know Lovato and Valderrama are engaged, and yet the outlet has absolutely no details about where the former “That ’70s Show” star popped the question or even whenit supposedly took place.
And then in a feeble attempt to cover itself, the tabloid’s seemingly made-up “source” says, “They aren’t in a rush to get a ring.” How convenient that the magazine has set up a scenario to explain why no one would think Lovato’s engaged.
Extreme Entertainment actually has a better reason why not to think she and Valderrama are engaged, because the actor never proposed. Valderrama’s rep exclusively tells Extreme Entertainment the Enquirer’s story is absolutely “not true.”
Of course, we’re not remotely surprised the tabloid completely fabricated this tale. Extreme Entertainment has busted the magazine before with its inaccurate reporting about Lovato. Back in 2013, the Enquirer claimed Lovato and Selena Gomez were “duking it out” to play Linda Ronstadt in a biopic about the singer.
