The final trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2, the last entry in the blockbuster franchise, debuted on Tuesday. Watch the new preview below!
This final trailer is the most action-packed one yet, featuring new footage of Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence), Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth), and the rest of District 13 engaging in an epic battle against the Capitol and President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
The footage opens highlighting the relationship between Katniss and her little sister Prim (Willow Shields), before turning into an all-out action extravaganza, featuring scenes from the revolution that will be at the center of the film. A montage, which shows just about every character in the movie, is accompanied by a stirring voiceover from Lawrence’s character. She declares, “We all have one enemy, and that’s President Snow. He corrupts everyone and everything. He turns the best of us against each other. Stop killing for him. Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol. Turn your weapons to Snow.”
As the trailer ends, a title card promises, “Nothing can prepare you for the end.” The highly-anticipated final installment of the Hunger Games franchise hits theaters on November 20. Watch the final Mockingjay – Part 2 trailer below, and tell Extreme Entertainment what you think.
