Jay Leno Does Monologue On “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” (VIDEO)

Jay Leno returned to “The Tonight Show” on Tuesday, doing the monologue in place of Jimmy Fallon. Check out the video below!
Fallon came out and began with a few jokes about President and Michelle Obama celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary, before doing some Halloween-related and political jokes. Fallon then said he pulled a hamstring, and needed someone to sub in. And with that, he tagged out and Leno came in and went straight into the presidential cracks.
Leno said democratic candidate Martin O’Malley has been running for eight months and only has 2 percent of the vote, making him “tied with low fat milk.” There were also jokes about Jeb Bush, Hillary Clinton, Bernie Sanders “being the only socialist to run for president since 2008,” and, of course, Donald Trump’s hair.
The former “Tonight Show” host then launched into a string of “the economy is so bad jokes.” Fallon even piped in with a few including, “The economy is so bad, 50 Cent changed his name to Nickelback.”
Leno, of course, retired from “The Tonight Show” (for the second time) in February 2014, with Fallon being his successor. As Extreme Entertainment reported, he previously returned to the series nearly a year ago. In November 2014, the TV legend performed a standup routine and sat for an interview with Fallon.
This new appearance was timed to the premiere of “Jay Leno’s Garage,” a new CNBC series that will debut on Wednesday. Check out the video below of Leno’s new “Tonight Show” monologue with Fallon, and tell Extreme Entertainment what you think.
