Erykah Badu has released a remix of Kanye West’s new song “Real Friends,” which the singer calls “Trill Friends.” Listen to the track below!
On Tuesday, Badu uploaded “Trill Friends” to her official Soundcloud account, along with the caption, “Kanye x badu x whodini, JUST ride out to this.” The singer added, “what up yeezy? BADU MESSIN ROUND THIS MORNIN (really suppose be recording something else).”
Whodini’s hit ’90s song “Friends” is also mixed into the track. The singer also noted that the remix will be featured on her upcoming mixtape THIS $h!t TOO EASY. Last October, Badu also covered Drake’s “Hotline Bling, which appeared on her previous mixtape But You Caint Use My Phone.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, West released “Real Friends” on Soundcloud this past Friday. The song, which features Ty Dolla $ign, is one of the singles from the rapper’s highly anticipated seventh solo album Swish. West also announced on Friday that his long-delayed record would finally be released on February 11, and that he would be dropping new music from the album every Friday, leading up to its release date.
