‘PLL’ On ‘GMA’ Video 2016: ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Cast Talks ‘5 Years Forward’ – Watch

The cast of “Pretty Little Liars” appeared on Tuesday’s “GMA” to discuss the series moving “5 years forward,” just hours before the midseason premiere. Check out the video below!
As Extreme Entertainment has reported, the popular ABC Family/Freeform show will return for the rest of its sixth season with a huge time-jump. With the winter premiere, the series will now be set five years from where the midseason summer finale left off. Lucy Hale, Troian Bellisario, Shay Mitchell, Ashley Benson, and Sasha Pieterse all discussed on “Good Morning America” just what that means for their characters.
“They’re all over the place,” Bellisario (Spencer) said of the Liars. “We’ve all gone to college. We live in separate cities now… Where you meet the ladies is that they’re all in their separate tracks and their own lives, living A-free lives, and something happens and Alison (Pieterse) asks us to come back to Rosewood.”
Addressing other hot topics, Lucy Hale (Aria) said the reveal that A was Charles/CeCe/Charlotte “came out of left field,” and Ashley Benson (Hanna) said she’d bring back Mrs. DiLaurentiis because she’s “such a good character.” Mitchell (Emily) confirmed she and her co-stars do hang out together off-set, and Pieterse discussed the possibility that Alison and Emily will become romantic again. “There’s always hope for Emison,” she said.
On Tuesday, the cast will also be on “Live With Kelly and Michael” and “The View.” Watch the full “GMA” interview below!
