Eva Longoria and Jose “Pepe” Baston are married! The couple tied the knot in Mexico on Saturday night.
Longoria and Baston wed in the lakeside town of Valle de Bravo, Mexico. The couple’s star-studded guest list included Penelope Cruz, David and Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mario Lopez and Ricky Martin. From news reports out of Mexico, Longoria wore a white dress and veil, and exchanged vows with Baston in front of a giant white cross. Following the wedding ceremony, fireworks were launched over a lake.
During the course of their engagement, Extreme Entertainment has busted numerous false claims that her relationship to the Mexican businessman, who runs the Televisa media company, was in trouble. Earlier this month, we corrected a highly inaccurate tabloid story that claimed the newlyweds were in the midst of relationship woes and had “hit a rough patch.”
Longoria and Baston got engaged in December, while on vacation in Dubai. Baston proposed to the star with a stunning and original red ruby engagement ring, which was surrounded by diamonds. At the time, she write on Instagram, “Ummmm so this happened….#Engaged #Dubai #Happiness,” captioning a photo of herself kissing Baston that also showed off her sparkler. Longoria and Baston first stepped out as a couple in November 2013.
This is the third marriage for Longoria, who was previously wed to Tyler Christopher and Tony Parker.
