Pink performed “Just Like Fire” at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Watch the video below!
“Just Like Fire” was released last month as the lead single from the Alice Through The Looking Glasssoundtrack. In just a few weeks, the song has already reached number eight on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart. It’s peaked at 30 so far on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song’s music video, featuring Pink’s husband Carey Hart and their daughter Willow, was released in early May. Directed by Dave Meyers, the clip also incorporates imagery from Alice In Wonderland, with the singer even resembling Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter. Pink also does some of her signature aerial acrobatics.
And before the BBMAs ceremony, executive producer Mark Bracco teased that she had more in store for the live performance. “She has done incredible award performances — she has flown through the air, there have been acrobatics and fire — but it’s all going to come together in this performance,” he told Billboard.
This marked Pink’s first time singing “Just Like Fire” on TV, but she’s no stranger to the BBMAs stage. She’s won four Billboard Music Awards over the years, and was last nominated in 2014 for Top Touring Artist.
