Ludacris and Ciara are hosting the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, and Extreme Entertainment has a live stream!
Now in its 24th (non-consecutive) year, the BBMAs are once again taking place in Las Vegas. But the ceremony has been moved from the MGM Grand Garden Arena to the brand-new T-Mobile Arena. This will be the venue’s very first awards show.
More than a dozen top music stars have signed up to perform at the event. Highlights are expected to included a medley from Britney Spears, as well as a duet with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. Celine Dion will also be singing her version of Queen’s “The Show Must Go On,” which will mark her first televised performance since the death of husband Rene Angelil earlier this year.
Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato, DNCE, Meghan Trainor, and Justin Bieber are among the other slated performers. In addition, Kesha will be taking the stage after her planned performance was un-approved and then re-approved by Dr. Luke and his Kemosabe Records label. Interestingly, even though he’s the night’s most-nominated artist, The Weeknd does not have a slot.
Meanwhile, stars ranging from Kristen Bell to Wiz Khalifa will be in attendance as presenters. The BBMAs are scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Eastern. Watch below!
