Ryan Lochte is NOT demanding his own personal security team on the set of “Dancing With The Stars” in light of protesters rushing the stage, despite a made-up webloid report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s “completely and totally false.”
As Extreme Entertainment reported, two men ran on stage during the Season 23 premiere of the reality competition show after Lochte and his partner Cheryl Burke performed a foxtrot. The protesters, who were both tackled and arrested, later claimed they were angry about the Olympian’s role in the Rio robbery scandal, and decided to express their contempt for the swimmer on live TV. Lochte noted afterwards that he was shaken by the experience, but RadarOnline is now falsely claiming he “had an epic meltdown when cameras were no longer rolling.”
A so-called “source” tells the site that after the taping, Lochte was supposedly “flipping out and demanding that they give him an entire security squad from now on.” But Extreme Entertainment looked into the outlet’s claim, and we’re told otherwise. A rep for Lochte assures us he never had a backstage meltdown nor has he demanded more protection. The Olympian’s spokesman says the webloid’s claim is “completely and totally false.”
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Extreme Entertainment has had to debunk a phony report involving Lochte’s new gig. We recently called out RadarOnline’s sister outlet, the National Enquirer, for falsely claiming Lochte wasn’t interested in attending “Dancing with the Stars” rehearsals. There was no truth to that tale, and the same goes for this latest one about the Olympic swimmer.
