Iron Man 3 may have met its match this weekend.
The Marvel movie is expected to lose its box office crown in its third week to the new Star Trek Into Darkness.
Estimates are varying widely — with Star Trek taking in anywhere from $62 million to $80 million — but it should still be enough to knock Iron Man into the number two spot with about $33 million.
The Great Gatsby is looking at third place and a possible $25 million.
Battling out for the number 4, 5 and 6 spots are Pain and Gain, The Croods and 42 ,all of which are hovering at a projected $3 million.
