Bobbi Kristina Brown’s organs are reportedly failing and shutting down. According to TMZ, family sources believe the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown is dying, and that her father’s reluctance to remove her from life support does not signal improvement in her condition.
It should be noted that Bobby Brown has specifically called out members of his family for giving what he considers poorly-informed updates about Bobbi Kristina to the press. On Friday, his lawyer issued a statement advising the media to “disregard” comments made by other family members, and Brown himself declared, “God is hearing our prayers” regarding Bobbi Kristina’s health.
That said, Bobbi Kristina has been on life support since being rushed to the hospital two weeks ago after being discovered unconscious in her bathtub. She lost brain function due to oxygen deprivation, and doctors have previously said that every day she remains in a coma, her chances of recovery diminish. While there have been conflicting reports from different family members since the beginning, a recurring pattern has been for sources to indicate that nothing can be done for Bobbi Kristina while Bobby Brown refuses to give up hope.
The circumstances of her medical emergency are still being investigated. There’s been a lot of speculation about what caused Bobbi Kristina to lose consciousness, but law enforcement officials have yet to confirm anything.
