James McAvoy And ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Cast ‘GMA’ Video – WATCH!

James McAvoy and fellow X-Men: Apocalypse cast members appeared on Tuesday’s “Good Morning America” to talk about their roles in the new superhero sequel. Watch the video below!
McAvoy portrays a young version of X-Men founder Professor Charles Xavier, a role made famous by Patrick Stewart. “I finally went full Patrick Stewart,” McAvoy said about going bald for the sequel. “It’s the moment that myself and like five other audience members have been waiting for.” The actor joked, “Literally, tens of audience members are gonna be so excited by this.”
Tye Sheridan co-stars as a young Cyclops, a mutant who can shoot lasers from his eyes. The actor admitted that “one of the most challenging aspects of the role” was acting with his eyes. “I’m trying to figure out how to use my forehead,” the actor said of making it look as if he was angry as lasers emitted from his eyeballs.
Alexandra Shipp, who takes over for Halle Berry in the sequel as a young Storm, discussed how she made the role her own. “I tried to be a lot more animalistic about it and come from a younger aspect,” the actress noted. She went on say she tried to channel a “completely headstrong and emotional” teenager might use their superpowers.
Also discussing their parts in the film were Evan Peters, who plays Quicksilver, a mutant with the ability to move at supersonic speeds, and newcomer Lana Condor as Jubilee, the youngest member of the X-Men who has vampire-like powers.
