Anne Hathaway did NOT throw a fit because “Real Housewives” stars Kyle Richards and Sonja Morgan attended the premiere of her new movie, Alice Through The Looking Glass, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it never happened.
According to Star, Hathaway deems reality stars beneath her and didn’t want Richards and Morgan on the red carpet. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “She was screeching, ‘What the hell are they doing here?’ Someone pointed out that reality stars often attend premieres, and she snapped, ‘Not for my movies they don’t!’ She was totally worked up about it.”
The magazine’s dubious insider further claims, “Reality stars are, in her eyes, talentless. But she needs to get over herself.” However,Extreme Entertainment checked in with a rep for Hathaway, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s account of events simply never occurred.
We’re told Hathaway wasn’t even aware that Richards and Morgan were at the event, but she would certainly have no issue with it. Extreme Entertainment is also told that Hathaway “didn’t stay to watch the film as she had to go home to nurse her baby,” and therefore “there was no such reaction.”
Of course, we’re not shocked by the tabloid’s bogus story. Extreme Entertainment previously corrected Star for falsely claiming that Hathaway was banning all pregnancy-related questions while promoting her movie The Intern. The outlet’s latest story about Hathaway flipping out over the reality stars at her premiere bears even less reality to the truth.
