Justin Bieber did NOT “diss” Selena Gomez by leaving her out of his Justmojis, despite a ridiculous report. Extreme Entertainment can debunk the sensational story, which comes from a webloid known for making up drama.
HollywoodLife writes, “Justin Bieber’s new line of emojis, Justmojis, depict famous moments from the singer’s actual life. Seriously, Justin got SUPER personal with the app, but one MAJOR thing missing? Selena Gomez! Ouch!” The silly story goes on, “Throwing MAJOR shade at his former flame, Justin noticeably left Selena out of his Justmoji collection and it’s so awkward it hurts! He even made a point of featuring many of his famous tattoos — but strategically left out the one he has of Selena’s face. Talk about a burn!”
Please. It makes zero sense for Bieber to include his former girlfriend in a set of emojis. He wasn’t “dissing” Gomez, “throwing MAJOR shade,” or doing a “burn.” There was just no reason for the Justmojis to reference his love life, particularly a relationship that ended quite some time ago.
In fact, it could be argued that it would be weird if Bieber HAD created a Gomez emoji, given their largely separate lives. But Extreme Entertainment knows why HollywoodLies tried to make the Justmojis seem scandalous. It was all a set-up for a follow-up story.
Just hours after suggesting Bieber was “dissing” Gomez, the bad blog posted a supposed “exclusive” (cough) all about why he didn’t make an emoji for his ex. And that new article actually praises him, saying he was just “looking out” for Gomez and “respecting” her when he left her out. The site, as it has done many times before, threw out a false premise, and then flip-flopped, claiming to know the truth.
It’s all a game to HollywoodLife, one in which readers are manipulated and misled to increase traffic. Don’t fall for it. See the two conflicting headlines below.
