The X-Factor family are in mourning this weekend.
Former contestant, Simone Battle, has been found dead at her Los Angeles home in what is understood to be a suicide after she was found hanging inside her bedroom closet on Friday morning.
The 25-year-old who performed as part of the group G.R.L. was formerly a finalist on the X-Factor making it to the top seventeen stage.
management firm led by Larry Rudolph, Robin Antin, Kemosabe Records and RCA Recordsreleased the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the tragic news of the loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L.
“Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and loved ones at this time.”
A full autopsy will reveal the exact cause of death of the talented singer.
