Sia Performs “Elastic Heart” On The Voice Live Playoffs — WATCH VIDEO!

Sia performed “Elastic Heart” on “The Voice” on Tuesday, appearing as a special guest during the season 8 live playoffs. Watch below!
As is often her norm, Sia kept her face shielded throughout the performance. Though she was facing the audience, the star’s blonde wig covered up every part of her face except her lips. Her unique performing style is both loved and loathed, since many watchers connect with a singer’s facial expressions. But there was no denying her voice was on point.
“Elastic Heart” was originally released in 2013 for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack as a collaboration with Diplo and The Weeknd. Sia re-recorded the track solo for her 2014 album, 1000 Forms of Fear, and it was released as a single from the record earlier this year. As Extreme Entertainment reported, the song’s music video sparked controversy in January for featuring Sia’s muse, young dancer Maddie Ziegler, with the much-older Shia LaBeouf, with some likening it to pedophilia. Shortly after the backlash, Sia performed “Elastic Heart” on “Saturday Night Live,” where she was accompanied only by Ziegler.
Sia, of course, is no stranger to “The Voice.” The singer-songwriter was an advisor to Christina Aguilera’s team all the way back in season one. And some of the performer’s hit songs, such as “Chandelier,” have been performed by various contestants. Check out video of the “Elastic Heart” performance below!
