Chrissy Teigen is coming to Justin Bieber’s defense after naked photos of the superstar were taken by paparazzi and published online.
As Extreme Entertainment reported, Bieber was surreptitiously photographed in the nude while he was vacationing recently at a private residence in Bora Bora. The singer was skinny dipping on private property, as he has every right to do, and had no idea his picture was being taken. Those snapshots were then purchased by the New York Daily News and published on its website and in its newspaper.
And while the Daily News (barely) censored the pics, it didn’t take long for the uncensored versions to begin circulating on social media. What resulted was a lot of cruel comments, jokes, and snippy headlines mocking and shaming Bieber for daring to be naked on his own personal, private time. But Teigen rightly sees things differently.
In the wake of the photos going viral, the model tweeted, “No one is ever disgusted by the pig who preys on, photographs and sells pictures of someone naked. Just the celebrity for being naked. Ok.” And she makes a great point.
Bieber did NOT do anything wrong. The photographer or photographers did. He, Teigen, and all stars should have a reasonable expectation of privacy while on a private vacation, without having to worry about long-lens paparazzi.
