HollywoodLife Spreads Lies About Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Aniston + More

Brad Pitt did not give Angelina Jolie a “divorce ultimatum” and Jennifer Aniston is not adopting a baby girl, as Extreme Entertainment exclusively reported. Conversely,HollywoodLife, which is among the most unreliable celebrity webloids out there, reported both of those stories were true. See photos below.
About Aniston supposedly adopting a baby girl, the webloid squealed that’s “so amazing!” It then wrote, as if the report were true, “First comes a secret wedding, then comes a secret adoption!” Interestingly, HollywoodLies, which has earned its nickname for its habit of seemingly fabricating stories, noted on the bottom of its post, that it had “reached out to Jen’s rep for comment.”
Of course, Aniston’s rep probably didn’t respond to the webloid because it often publishes falsehoods. Extreme Entertainment, on the other hand, got an exclusive statement from Aniston’s rep, who called the adoption story “crap” and “made-up story.”
Speaking of “made-up” stories, HollywoodLife similarly claimed Pitt is concerned with how skinny Jolie has reportedly become and gave her a “divorce ultimatum.” The blog then quoted an “insider” saying Pitt told Jolie that “if she doesn’t check into rehab,” he’s going to take the kids. The webloid doesn’t clearly state that it took its information from unequally untrustworthy Star. Instead, the gullible hacks at HollywoodLife editorialized that they “hope his ultimatum will inspire Angelina to get the help he thinks she needs.”
In that story, the webloid doesn’t even mention trying to reach out to either of Jolie or Pitt’s reps or any other sources. Extreme Entertainment, however, was exclusively assured by a source close to the couple that that “divorce ultimatum” was “totally untrue.”
While horrifically poor reporting is annoying to us, perhaps the most galling part about HollywoodLife is how the blog comes back later that day or the following day, pretending it never got the story wrong in the first place, and does a 180 degree flip-flip, lying once again that it “exclusively” got “THE TRUTH.” Actually, the webloid also wrongly reported on Wednesday that Leonardo DiCaprio was engaged to model Kelly Rohrbach, and then changed its piece later in the day after it reading Extreme Entertainment’s exclusive debunking (see below).
But we’re not just the only people who are sick and tired of HollywoodLife’s miserable “reporting” and seemingly lying in posts. As Extreme Entertainment noted earlier on Thursday, Selena Gomez called HollywoodLife “the worst.” Tell us what you think of the site constantly getting stories wrong, and then repeatedly backpedaling to correct itself?
