Leonardo DiCaprio is not engaged to Kelly Rohrbach, despite a new report. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively correct this claim, which is splashed on the cover of one of this week’s tabloids. We’re told by a mutual friend of ours and DiCaprio’s that the story is simply untrue “garbage.”
According to OK!, DiCaprio “popped the question” after just four months of dating while having dinner with the model in New York on September 26. A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “It wasn’t planned,” adding, “It just happened.”
The supposed “insider” claims they were drinking wine and in the midst of a conversation when “Leo paused and looked at her, and said that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her.” The seemingly made-up “source” adds, “Kelly was shocked, but Leo convinced her that he meant it, and she agreed with a kiss.”
After filling its space with how Rohrbach is “incredibly smart” and “understands Leo,” as well as “shares his passion” for social issues, the tabloid conveniently provides itself an out, noting, “The couple is in no rush to tie the knot.” The magazine’s alleged “source” says, “They’ve been discussing wedding plans,” but so far “nothing is set in stone.”
