Malika Haqq was reportedly arrested for DUI on Thursday after getting into a car accident.
The reality star, known to many as Khloe Kardashian’s best friend, allegedly crashed her car on California’s 101 Freeway in the early morning hours. When police arrived on scene, they determined that Haqq was showing “objective symptoms of intoxication.” She allegedly failed a sobriety test, and was taken into custody just after 3 a.m. local time.
According to TMZ, Haqq was at a birthday party in the hours before her accident. Earlier Wednesday, she birthday wishes on Instagram for childhood friend Dominique La Fargue, whose own page shows she indeed have a celebratory bash. Haqq’s twin sister, Khadijah, posted photos on Instagram suggesting they were both at the party.
For her part, Haqq has not posted about the party or mentioned her arrest on social media. She and Khadijah currently star on the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” spinoff, “DASH Dolls,” which follows the siblings as they manage the Kardashian family’s boutique and help oversee the staff. As Extreme Entertainment previously reported, Haqq will be seen on this Sunday’s “KUWTK,” during a scene in which she and Kardashian grill Kris Jenner’s boyfriend Corey Gamble. “DASH Dolls” airs right after.
