Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are NOT having a baby girl, despite a new tabloid cover story. Extreme Entertainment can exclusively debunk the report. A rep confirms to us that the claim is untrue.
The purported “baby joy” is announced on the cover of In Touch, which hit newsstands on Wednesday. The accompanying story regurgitates the previously debunked allegation that Stefani and Shelton are “expecting a baby.” Now the magazine claims, “Gwen is saying she’s having a little girl.”
So, despite the cover line declaring “They’re Having A Girl,” and the story’s headline reading, “Blake & Gwen: We’re Having A Baby Girl,” the actual article only speculatesabout the gender of Stefani’s (non-existent) baby. The rest of the piece is filled out with silly nonsense, like how Stefani supposedly “didn’t drink alcohol” at a wedding she recently attended with Shelton, and wore a “sheer black mesh dress that masked her growing baby bump.” The story even goes as far as detailing how the couple will supposedly “spoil their lil cowgirl” with a designer nursery.
But the pregnancy claim wasn’t true when In Touch first reported it last month. And it’s still not true now.
