Kim Kardashian Wants To Work As Amal Clooney’s Legal Assistant?

Kim Kardashian is NOT seeking a job asAmal Clooney’s legal assistant, despite a ridiculous story in one of this week’s tabloids. Extreme Entertainment can bust the erroneous claim, with a rep for Kardashian exclusively telling us that the tall tale is flat-out wrong.
The absurd article can be found in the pages of the National Enquirer, which alleges Clooney has been “dodging Kim’s messages” after the reality star supposedly made repeated calls “offer[ing] her services as a legal assistant.” The supermarket tabloid ties Kardashian’s alleged interest to the fact that Alamuddin, a human rights laywer, is currently working on a case relating to the Armenian genocide and Kardashian “has been outspoken about her Armenian heritage.”
“Kim has been calling George’s [Clooney] handlers, pleading for an introduction to Amal,” a so-called “source” claims to the Enquirer. “Kim also emailed Amal’s London law office hoping to track her down. Despite that Kim doesn’t have a law degree or even a college degree, she wants Amal to hire her as a consultant on the Armenia case.” The Enquirerand its “source” all claim its part of Kardashian’s supposed plan to “smarten up her image,” with the star allegedly wanting to “follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie” and do humanitarian work.
The alleged Enquirer “insider” claims Kardashian, who recently announced an upcoming trip to Armenia, is “trying to convince Amal that teaming up is a win/win for both of them. But Amal and George are blowing Kim off. They want nothing to do with her or her down-market, reality TV family.” The magazine’s “source” adds, “Amal doesn’t need an advisor — and if she did, Kim Kardashian is the last person she’d turn to for help.”
And therein lies the reason the Enquirer thinks it can get away with publishing such nonsense. Amal Clooney and Kim Kardashian each have successful but wildly different careers. The Enquirer knows that they would never work together, and knows that Kardashian and her career are easy targets for mockery. So, the tabloid apparently thought there was no harm in seemingly making up a story about Kardashian wanting to work with Clooney but getting rejected, which is a convenient angle for when the two never actually team up.
But it’s not okay, and it’s certainly not fair to Kardashian, Clooney, or readers, all of whom deserve accurate stories, not fabricated, mean-spirited garbage.
