India Carney “Hurt” The Voice Video: Christina Aguilera Left “Speechless” At Live Playoffs Cover Of Her Own Song

India Carney left Christina Aguilera “speechless” after performing the superstar’s song “Hurt” during the live playoffs of “The Voice” season 8 on Tuesday. Check out the video below!
The second night of the playoffs entailed Team Adam Levine and Team Christina contestants, exactly half of the Top 20, taking the stage for their first live performances of the season. This also marked the first time the artists were competing for viewers’ votes, and Carney likely earned a huge amount thanks to her moving cover of her coach Aguilera’s song. Like teammate Kimberly Nichole, Carney received a standing ovation from all four coaches, who once again threw around the word “unbelievable.”
“That was like watching a film,” declared Pharrell. “That was so entertaining. I can’t imagine people not calling you, calling you to have your song at the end of one of their films. You just closed the show to me.” And there were still two more performances to go!
Blake Shelton told Carney, “It was emotional, it was dramatic, it was powerful. I mean, I don’t know what else you could’ve done to make that any better.” He then said to Aguilera, “Your team is unbelievable!” And Aguilera admitted, “Unbelievable. I’m so speechless right now.” The superstar, however, went on to say, “There’s something that happens when you walk onto that stage… You command an attention that silences the room… Always, always you strive for emotion, and we hear that in you. You’re a special, special singer, and I’m blessed to have you on my team.”
As Extreme Entertainment  reported, Pharrell and Shelton’s singers hit the stage on Monday’s installment. The results will be revealed in a special episode on Wednesday with the announcement of the Top 12. Watch Carney’s performance below!
